Activate your Trackting ONE

You need only a few minutes. Installation is simple and fast.

Discover your Trackting ONE

Inside the package you will find:

  • Black GPS tracker
  • Red keyring Tag with built-in battery, already paired with the tracker
  • Card with QR code
  • USB-C charging cable
  • Double-sided adhesive tape and zip ties to mount the Tracker

Attention: this activation procedure refers to the new model of Trackting ONE.
If you purchased the previous model (SMART V2), please activate it from here.

  • 01

    Install the "TRACKTING" app

    Register and follow the instructions on the app.

  • 02

    Charge the Tracker

    Connect the Tracker (black device) to a charger using the supplied USB-C cable.

    The Tracker’s LED will start flashing red. Wait until it turns green: now the charging process is complete.

    Note

    The Tag (red keyring) in the package already has a battery inside and is already paired with your Tracker: you don’t need to do anything.

    Pair your tracker

    Open the app, click on Add device (the + button at the top), authorise the app to use the camera and scan the QR code on the card inside the package.

    First localisation

    • Take the Tracker and Tag to an outdoor location with good visibility of the sky.
    • Shake the Tracker for 5 seconds, then place it on a flat surface.
    • Now move away with the Tag to a distance of at least 30 metres.
    • Within 5 minutes, you will receive a notification on the App where you can see the location on the map.

    Great! You have completed your first localisation!

    Can’t see the location on the map? Repeat the procedure or contact Customer Support.

    Place the tracker on your vehicle

    Hide the Tracker in your vehicle and remember to always carry the Tag with you.

    Some useful tips:

    • For optimal GPS signal reception, the Tracker label must face downwards.
    • NEVER leave the device connected to the charger: in this state, the device will enter the alarm mode.
    • Never hide it inside closed metal compartments that can shield the signal.
    • In cars: avoid placing it in the door’s storage space as this may vibrate and generate false alarms.
    • On motorbikes or scooters: if you place it in the underseat compartment, you must secure it with the double-sided adhesive tape provided to avoid vibrations.
    • You can adjust the vibration sensitivity for the Tracker’s accelerometer from the App.

    NOTE:

    The Tracker can be fixed using the automotive-grade adhesive tape included in the package.

    • For optimal adhesion, install the device on clean, dry surfaces that are not exposed to direct heat.
    • We recommend not installing the device in areas subject to high temperatures, such as near exhausts, engines, or parts that generate intense heat. Prolonged exposure to high temperatures may reduce the effectiveness of the adhesive over time.
    • Periodically check the condition of the adhesive and, if necessary, replace it with an equivalent tape.

    New    ! You can adjust the vibration sensitivity


    Adjust the sensitivity according to the type of vehicle and your needs.
    Remember: if the sensitivity is too high, the alarm may be triggered by external vibrations (such as passing trucks).

  • Verify your phone number and save Trackting Alarm numbers

    Ensure you have registered your mobile number on the app and save the following numbers in your contacts as ‘Trackting Alarm’:

    • +31 970 102 40666
    • +44 7418 372710

    Set your phone so that ‘Trackting Alarm’ can reach you even in silent or ‘Do Not Disturb’ mode.


    When you receive the alarm call, you must never answer it (you must reject the call) because:

    • This way, your monthly calls will not be deducted (otherwise, there is a maximum of 5).
    • It is an automatic system, not an operator, and is only used to alert you in the event of an alarm.


    If, on the other hand, you answer or have voicemail activated, the call will be deducted from your 5 monthly calls.
    Notifications remain unlimited.

    NOTE

    With some telephone operators, voicemail is activated automatically even if you reject the call or do not answer. In this case, one of your 5 monthly calls would be used up. To deactivate your voicemail, you can follow the guide here.

  • Did you also purchase an additional Tag?

    The tag included in the Trackting ONE package is already paired with your tracker: no further action is required.

    If you have purchased an additional tag, in addition to the one you already have, the new tag must be paired with the tracker by following the instructions described here.


    NOTE

    With  Trackting ONE, you can pair up to 3 tags with the same tracker.

    The ONE Tag can only be paired with and communicate with one Tracker at a time.
