How Trackting One works

Get to know it so you can make the most of it

How it works?

Know your Trackting ONE

Trackting ONE consists of two elements: the Tracker and the Tag.

The Tracker is to be placed on the vehicle and it is the heart of the system. It is built with a motion sensor, GPS system and integrated SIM card.

The key-holder Tag, which you will carry with you at all times, allows the Tracker to recognize when you are driving by communicating with it.

The Tracker activates when it starts moving and during parking: it does not track your movements, but reacts immediately in case of theft.

Trackting ONE includes 2 months of free service. At the end of this period, you can renew the service directly through the app with a flexible plan: 39€ for one year or 59€ for two years.

Driving

You have moved your vehicle

When you start your vehicle, the Tracker senses movement and wakes up from standby mode, looking for the Tag to verify that it is indeed you and not a thief driving.

As soon as the Tag manages to communicate with the Tracker it emits three blue flashes. Read more here.

When the Tag is detected, the Tracker goes back to standby mode without tracking your movements, optimizing battery life and respecting your privacy.

Note

If you open the App while driving you will always see your last parking location. This is normal: Trackting One only tracks your vehicle if it is stolen.

Parking

You parked and went away

Every time you park and move away from your vehicle the Tracker automatically activates and starts protecting you.

The Tag flashes three times green to indicate that it has disengaged from the Tracker. Read more here.

After a few minutes you will also receive a parking notification with the location visible on the App.

Any movement in your absence and without a paired Tag nearby, is recognized as a theft attempt and it is going to trigger the alarm mode.

Note

If you park indoors, the GPS may not detect the location-don’t worry because the vehicle is still protected and, in case of theft, tracking will begin as soon as the vehicle goes outside.

Alarm mode

The device detects movement in your absence

If the Tracker detects unauthorized movement, i.e., in the absence of the Tag, it enters Alarm mode: it sends you a notification, a phone call and starts tracking the vehicle thanks to the built-in GPS system. By opening the App you can check the location, direction of movement and speed of the vehicle.

Note

You can adjust the sensitivity of the Tracker’s motion sensor via the App to suit your needs and your vehicle.

Batteries & Recharge

The Tracker is rechargeable via USB-C. You can see the battery level on the App and you will receive a notification when the battery is low.

The Tag comes with a long-lasting non-rechargeable button battery (CR2032). Once this battery runs out, you will need to change it with a new one.

Note

The Tracker should not be left constantly powered on the vehicle because it would be easily detected by thieves and the battery may deteriorate.
