First steps
How do you activate it? START
Follow the steps described on this page to complete the activation.
From which numbers will I receive the alarm call?
You can receive the alarm call from four different numbers. Save them all in your contacts right away: +18304444666 +3907211760423 +3197010240666 +447418372710.
IMPORTANT: We recommend setting them as favorites, so your phone rings even in “do not disturb” mode.
Where to install EVO?
EVO must be installed by a professional installer.
You need to buy it on a new e-bike at one of our authorized dealers and have it installed in the shop.
Can I install EVO by myself?
No, you need to buy EVO on a new e-bike at one of our authorized dealers and have it installed in the shop.
How long does the battery last and how do I charge it?
EVO draws power autonomously from the e-bike's main battery, on which it has virtually no impact.
It also has its own backup battery, which kicks in if the main battery runs flat or has been tampered with.
The backup battery, without the main battery, can last up to 3 days in standby.
How do I check if the EVO battery is charged?
You can check the backup battery status and its remaining charge in the App. You'll find this information both in the tray with the e-bike details on the ‘Map’ page, and on the ‘List’ page by tapping the wheel to the right of the vehicle and scrolling down to ‘Backup Battery’.
How often does EVO update the position on the map?
EVO sends new telemetry every 30 seconds, updating the position on the app's map.
Water resistance?
The GPS tracker of EVO is waterproof (IP56): it withstands splashes and water jets but not immersion. On the other hand, the wiring supplied with the device is not water-resistant: it is therefore essential that the installer makes sure to protect it adequately to avoid damage.
How do I top up the credit?
To top up your credit, open the App, go to the “Vehicles” menu item and select the vehicle settings icon. If your credit has run out, a red “TOP UP” button will appear, which you need to click on.
A box will open showing the annual amount of 29€. By clicking on it, you'll then be taken to the payment system for the new yearly term.
Now your credit has been renewed for another 12 months. Going back to the App, in the vehicle settings you'll find the status of your active subscription and the next expiry date.

Solutions
It goes into alarm while I'm riding. Why?
You probably forgot to turn off Locked mode in the app: in this mode, EVO detects any tampering or movement as an attempted theft, and therefore goes into alarm.
I can't turn off the alarm
In case of an attempted theft, besides sending you a phone call, EVO alerts you to open the App, which in the meantime has switched to Alarm mode (with the lock and other icons turned red).
To turn off alarm mode in the App, set EVO to Unlocked mode (open lock, green).
In addition to the notification, you'll receive a phone call (from an automated operator), which you just need to reject with your phone's red button to avoid one of the 5 monthly credits available being deducted.
I parked my bike inside the garage, but in the App the last position was updated a few days ago. How is that possible?
The App shows the last position detected by EVO.
If the e-bike has been stationary for several days or stored in an area without coverage, the App will show the last position sent.
Don't worry: your bike is protected anyway. If the bike is moved, EVO will send the updated position as soon as it finds it.
How to update the EVO firmware
Here's how to see when a new version of the EVO firmware is available:
- open the App
- select “List” in the bottom menu
- select the settings wheel for your bike
- scroll all the way down the screen to the EVO SW Version field
- if an update is available, you'll see the “Update available” field right below it
- to start, select “Update”.
From that moment the guided procedure will open, with three simple screens that will walk you through completing the update.
From the last step, once the update has started, you'll need to wait about 10 minutes. You can exit the procedure by selecting “Close” at the top left. You'll receive a notification about the result of the operation once it's done.
How can I tell if EVO is powered correctly?
EVO is equipped with an internal rechargeable battery that only kicks in when there's movement with the external power supply off (e.g. an attempted theft on a switched-off e-bike).
You can check the internal battery status from the App. On the ‘List' page, tap the cog wheel to the right of the vehicle and scroll down to ‘EVO Battery': here you'll see whether everything is fine or whether the battery is draining because the electrical connection to the vehicle isn't working. If in doubt, contact your installer.
Why doesn't EVO send the position continuously?
The reason is simple: EVO is an anti-theft device that uses the battery intelligently.
When you're riding and EVO is in Unlocked mode (lock open, green), it sends the e-bike's location data every 5 minutes. This is because communicating over the GSM cellular network uses a significant amount of energy.
Tracking in case of theft, on the other hand, happens much more frequently: every 30 seconds. In this case, EVO also records direction and speed. Along with this, you receive both a phone call and an app notification.
WARNING: You have 5 calls available per month, so it's important not to set off EVO's alarm on purpose.
