Activate EVO

Welcome! EVO is a smart device: it understands situations and reacts accordingly, to protect your e-bike.
Follow these simple steps to activate it correctly and make the most of its potential

    Download the app

    • For iPhone (iOS version>11): CLICK HERE > App Store.
    • For Android (version 6 or later): CLICK HERE > Google Play.

    Create your account

    Launch the app, click Sign up and follow the instructions you'll see:

    You must create a new account in the app even if you already have one with Trackting (for example for the SMART app or as an account registered on our shop). The accounts are not linked in any way, to protect your privacy.
    Your new EVO account will be active only after you confirm the link you'll receive by email.

    Pair the app with your evo device

    Tap on Add a new device and enter the UID code (unique) printed on the back of your personal CARD.

    Try it right now

    Open the app and turn on Lock mode (closed padlock) for your bike or electric vehicle.
    Simulate a theft: ride outside for a few minutes, checking that your position updates in the app.


    The position is usually acquired within a few dozen seconds, but only during this first phase it may take a few minutes.


    EVO will detect the theft and switch to Alarm mode (red icons, position tracking every 30 sec).
    Great, the first activation phase is complete.

    Activate the alarm phone call

    In the event of theft, EVO will call you to alert you. It's therefore essential to enter your phone number and check that it's correct.
    Again from the App, go to the My account section, then scroll down and enter your phone number, selecting the correct international dialling code (e.g. 39 Italy), then tap Save.
    Now enter the 4-digit code pin that you received via SMS (you'll get it within 5 minutes at most). Then tap OK.


    IMPORTANT
    Save the number +18304444666 in your contacts right away as “Trackting Alarm” and ideally set it so it rings even when you've turned on “Do Not Disturb” mode.
    It's an automated system: it can't receive phone calls. Don't call it, there's no operator!
    Alarm calls are unlimited only if you don't answer or if you reject the call with the red button on your phone. If, on the other hand, you answer or your voicemail picks up, you'd have a maximum of 5 calls per month (notifications are unlimited regardless).


    GOOD TO KNOW:
    NOTE: With some phone carriers, voicemail kicks in automatically even if you reject the call or don't answer. In this case, one of the 5 monthly calls would be used up. To turn off voicemail you can follow the guide here.
