Smart Support Tag Check Battery v2

Only for SMART V2 Tags

This procedure applies exclusively to the Tag compatible with SMART V2, as shown in the photo here.

A dead Tag could be the cause of some false alarm events (such as the alarm state activating while you're driving): that's why, in these cases, it's always good practice to check the Tag's battery status.

To check the Tag's battery charge level, proceed as follows:

• open the Tag with a screwdriver
• inside, press the little button
• if the LED lights up green: the battery is still charged
• if the LED stays off or lights up red: the battery is dead.
