This procedure applies exclusively to the Tag compatible with SMART V2, as shown in the photo here.

How to add or remove a Tag

Here's how to pair or remove a Tag
Lay the Tag on a table and open it by unscrewing the shell.
Set the Tracker to “Service” mode: to do this, open the Trackting App, then access it by tapping directly on the “Vehicle” card of the desired V2 Tracker, at the bottom of the map screen, or by tapping the vehicle list (the icon at the top with the three horizontal lines) → Device details, and then tap “Pair a Tag”.

Follow the steps in the wizard that opens in the App:

  1. put the Tracker on charge using the USB cable
  2. the Tracker's red led starts flashing once per second
  3. wait until the flashing becomes a double blink
  4. tap the tracker repeatedly a few times until the led flashes red and green alternately, then tap Continue to start syncing
  5. in the app, select “Start” in the top right, then carry out the following steps depending on whether you want to add or remove the Tag.

TO ADD A TAG (PAIRING)
Inside the Tag, hold down the little button for 3 seconds until the green led turns on.
Release the button: the Tag's green led starts flashing.
At this point the App tells you that the Tag pairing procedure has started: tap “Ok” in the dialog box.
Once pairing is complete, the green led stays on with a steady light for about 5 seconds, after which the App tells you that the process was successful.
You can now exit the wizard by selecting “Close” in the App.
If the led flashes green and red alternately, repeat the procedure.

TO REMOVE A TAG (UNPAIRING)
Inside the Tag, hold down the little button for at least 10 seconds until first the green led and then the red led turn on.
Release the button: the Tag's red led keeps flashing.
At this point the App tells you that the Tag removal procedure has started: tap “Ok” in the dialog box.
Once removal is complete, the green led stays on with a steady light for about 5 seconds, after which the App tells you that the process was successful.
You can now exit the wizard by selecting “Close” in the App.
If the led flashes green and red alternately, repeat the procedure.
