Here you’ll find answers to the commonly asked questions about EVO.

Does EVO work only on e-bikes?

EVO is adapted to e-bikes and any other kind of electric vehicle such as scooters and mopeds. It doesn’t apply to traditional bicycles.

Can I install EVO by myself?

No, you can’t. You must buy it buy it pre-installed on a new e-bike from one of our Authorized Trackting Dealers. Find the nearest shop here.

How much does EVO cost?

The price of the device is 199€*.

It covers one year service, the embedded e-SIM (with coverage in 49 European countries), 5 alarm calls per month, unlimited notifications, firmware updates, customer assistance.

Service subscription renewal fee (starting from the second year): 29€*/year.

Which is the GPS accuracy?

EVO uses three satellite systems (GPS, Glonass, Galileo) with an outodoor tolerance of 5 meters.

How can I charge EVO?

EVO is powered by the e-bike, but it doesn’t affect the battery duration because of its smart system. Moreover, EVO is also powered by its own backup battery, in case the e-bike battery has been removed or turned off. 

How can I know if the backup battery is fully charged?

You can see that on the App. Go in the Vehicles list, and select the gear on the right of the vehicle, then scroll until you find ‘Backup Battery’.

In Unlocked mode, how frequently is the position updated?

In Unlocked mode (green, open padlock) EVO traces your e-bike every 5 minutes. In this way it doesn’t affect the battery.

In Alarm mode, how frequently is the position updated?

If EVO has been set in Locked mode (orange, closed padlock) and someone steals your e-bike, EVO switches into Alarm mode and starts updating the e-bike’s position every 30 seconds, indicating direction and speed. In addition, you will receive a phone call and a notification from the App. ATTENTION: you have 5 calls per month, so it is important not to make EVO enter Alarm mode intentionally.

What do you mean with “5 phone calls per month”?

Each month, EVO provides for a maximum of 5 Alarm phone calls and an unlimited number of Alarm notifications through the App so that if you happen to have exhausted your 5 monthly phone calls you can still count on the Alarm notifications. The next month, the 5 phone call credit is fully recharged. No extra fee will be charged.

What do you mean with “Select sharing type”?

This is the S.O.S function. Because we care about for your safety, in case emergency when you are riding your e-bike, you can share your position temporarily with your contacts (15 mins, 1 hour, 8 hours).

If EVO enters Alarm mode, what can I do in the App?

If someone tries to steal your e-bike EVO calls your number and notifies you to open the App which switched into Alarm mode (red, closed padlock). To stop the Alarm mode in the App, you must reset the Unlocked mode ( green, opened padlock).

If I receive a phone call in Alarm mode, what do I have to do? 

Just reject the call (directed from an automated system) by pressing the red button on your smartphone.

My e-bike is parked in the garage, but the App displays a previous. How is that possible?

If your e-bike has been parked for several days or moved to a place without coverage, the App shows the last position that EVO could take. Don’t worry: your e-bike is safe anyway. When you will move it again, the position will be sent as soon as EVO finds coverage.
